HELEN SHEPPARD

Founder/Trustee

A Mother’s Love That Refuses to Let Go.

After saying goodbye to her beloved daughter Hope in 2011, Helen channelled her grief into creating something beautiful and lasting. With a fierce belief in the healing power of community, she founded A Little Piece of Hope in 2012.  Helen continues to pour her heart into ensuring other families receive the practical and emotional support she once needed.

A Caring Heart Full of Creative Strength

Emma joined our team bringing skills as an artist, qualified bookkeeper, and experienced carer. As a mum who has navigated serious childhood illness in her own family, she pours personal understanding and creative energy into our work — from organising events and wrapping Secret Santa gifts to helping families feel truly seen and supported. Warm, Dedicated Behind-the-Scenes Partners

Lesley and Aaron McCracken are a valued husband-and-wife team who work quietly but powerfully behind the scenes. With kindness, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others, they play a key role in organising the Heroes of Mann Awards and actively help during Baby Loss Awareness Week, ensuring these important events run smoothly and bring comfort and recognition to families across the Isle of Man. Their steady, selfless support makes a real difference without seeking the spotlight.
